European walk in the Saône Valley

Let's talk water resources, agriculture and biodiversity! Departing from Pont-de-Vaux, along the Reyssouze and then through the meadows of the Val de Saône, we propose a rather original approach: discover the very concrete achievements in favor of water, agriculture and nature promoted by European policies along a suggestive trail. In the company of practitioners, we'll take the time to observe the flora and fauna characteristic of an original and remarkable, yet fragile and threatened environment.

Route (6.5 km approx., flat terrain) led by the Maison de l'Europe et des Européens de l'Ain in partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (coordinator of the emblematic Natura 2000 sites in the Val de Saône) and the Maison de l'Eau et de la Nature.
