The chapel of aigrefeuille in Bresse

The last vestige of one of the oldest commanderies of the Order of Saint Lazarus in France. Its past bears witness to an incredible wealth and its “carron” equipment still conceals multiple enigmas (armorial stone, wall painting, etc.). People came from far and wide on pilgrimage to the chapel to heal the sickly children.

Access: Route de Potet 01380 Bâgé-Dommartin all year round, outdoor only.

The Montépin wash house

The original building was covered with hooked slates, which allows it to be dated to the nineteenth century. It is located on the estate of the Château de Montépin (private property).
