Hiking circuit: Meeting with Michel Poisat
This trail will take you through the village of Saint-Bénigne, with its scattered settlements grouped into numerous hamlets and split in 2 by the D2 departmental road, route de Saint Trivier.
The tour departs from Saint-Bénigne town hall. The church of Saint-Bénigne was built thanks to Michel Poisat (1802-1869) and his wife, whose tombs can be found in this neo-Romanesque church. The timber-framed upper and lower houses opposite the church are well worth a visit.
